Combining two cameras with OIS and AI-assisted digital stabilization, the P30 Pro has even more chances to get the details of the video. However, we had some problems with showing the video in less favorable lighting. During the night, while the scenes looked deeper and sharper, things shuddered and the whole image stabilization added an exciting effect to the movie, which is not great for watching. Very bright objects often leave a red neon halo of both video and images, something Huawei can hope to improve in the future when updating the software.
Shoot videos during the day and this is rarely a problem. The P30 Pro has an incredibly impressive focus tracking. With the hybrid 1
I have a terrible game of affairs. But here we are, and we have to get together because of our work.
Huawei added some AI smarts to his camera, which he calls the Super HDR shot. This turns into pictures where, even if the background is very well lit, it will achieve a balance between this and your face, ensuring that it is well lit. It's a smart touch. And means less compulsive gestures for a self-image.
Although it has nothing to do with the camera, the P30 Pro has a surprisingly strong battery life. An intense shooting day has reduced the battery to about 60%. This is something worth mentioning.
24 hours later, and I'm surprised to admit that the P30 Pro is another incredible camera phone that even further mobilizes the images. I think this is a sign that even high-end compact cameras will be replaced with my main meals is that Huawei has learned how to make it make my cameras easier to use (Portrait mode is a great example of hardware and software who work in tandem for simple, impressive photos). It's even easier to deliver great photos without having to read a guide or browse a network of photography options.
But Huawei could have gone further. There are still a few UI troubles: Increase control, with solid stops for 10X hybrid magnification 5X optical zoom, standard mode and wide angle, is often difficult to reach during shooting, and is a bit hard to see on the screen. There are still many shooting options hidden on the mode screen and the camera settings (considering all those interfaces that interact with each other) the menu is a complex mess. Yes, you can shoot videos in 4K, but be prepared to dive into the menus.
Put the effort on – and I know that many of you are strong users looking for the best camera phone, regardless of the cumbersome menus or temperamental results – and no smartphone camera is close to what you can do P30. In 2019, camera phones make another leap forward and this is a combination of class-leading hardware and smarter software.
