HBO has confirmed that the first two episodes of the eighth and last season of the "Throne Game" will be a bit shorter than the rest.
The last six episodes of the megahit show were originally rumors for 90 minutes each, but now it's clear that only the last four episodes will be longer than usual to perform the show. The cabin also revealed the debut dates for each of the latest episodes, the first of which premieres on April 14.
Earlier this month, HBO released a dramatic trailer for the last season in which fans got a glimpse into the epic battles and drama coming.
Former HBO chief Richard Pleifer, who withdrew from his role in February amid the merger of AT & T-Time Warner, said Variety that episodes are closer to the "six" , rather than television episodes, and that they demonstrated David Benioff and DB Weiss had exceeded expectations with the end product.
"They knew the bar was tall. They crossed the border, "said Plexer. I watched them twice without CGI and I'm in awe. Everyone is for extraordinary treatment of storytelling and magical magic. at 21
