Google says quantum supremacy is achieved
Google stands for quantum supremacy – a milestone in computational research. Word of the breakthrough expired in September, and despite controversy from some competitors, the scientific journal Nature is already publishing a Google research book.
The document explains how his 53-bit quantum computer – named Sycamore – took just 200 seconds to perform a calculation that would take the world's fastest supercomputer in 10,000 years. According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, "We can think of today's news in the context of building the first rocket to successfully leave Earth's gravity to touch the edge of space." The only problem? Whether or not you think it fits the title, the feat has no practical use – yet.
Huawei will finally release its $ 2,400 Mate X phone on November 15.

Canon has announced the development of its next professional DSLR, the EOS-1D X Mark III. It will hit up to 16 frames per second with auto focus through the optical viewfinder (mechanical shutter) and 20 fps in live view mode (mechanical or electronic shutter). Along with JPEG and RAW files, users will receive a new type of format called 10-bit HEIF (High Efficiency Image File), with a more dynamic range and a wider color palette than JPEG. This is an option that is much more compact than RAW, but easier to edit than JPEG.
It's also intended to be the most capable video EOS camera, with new algorithms and AI technologies that improve autofocus. What we don't know yet is when it will arrive and how much it will cost.
Watch the first CG teaser for the CG series & # 39; Ghost in the Shef & # 39; on Netflix
A word of warning: If you have fond memories of both Mamoru Oshi films The Ghost in the Sheath you may want to look away. Of several Netflix anime trailers released Wednesday, the one for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is the only one that has almost as many dislikes on YouTube as it likes. Much of this has to do with the style of 3DCG animation shown in the trailer, which, to tell the truth, fans have reacted in isolation.
