Plus a new Olympus card and a Trident vehicle.
The seventh season of Apex Legends, also known as Ascension, is coming soon, and developer Respawn has now revealed a little more than what players can expect – including the new Horizon character – when it launches on November 4th.
On his newfound page in Season 7, Respawn describes Horizon as “a brilliant astrophysicist who escaped a black hole and seeks to use his newfound mastery of gravity to fulfill a promise.”
Turning to more practical concerns, there is still no word on how Horizon will work in terms of gameplay – other than these vague hints about its “mastering gravity”, of course – but expect Respawn to clarify these details as well. to share more of the new Trident of Season 7 and the Olympus map (“beautiful, bustling city in the clouds”), closer to the start
As you’d expect, the seventh season of Apex Legends also introduces a new Ranked Season and Battle Pass – the latter includes more than 100 new awards, including Legendary Skins, Apex Packs and Holo-Sprays – and there’s a new, and still somewhat mysterious, Clubs also have a function described as a place to “find like-minded people, build community and rise together.”
Season 7 of Apex Legends hits Origin, Xbox One and PS4 on November 4, and the long-awaited Steam version arrives the same day. However, switching players will have to wait a little longer to join Apex Legends, as Respawn recently confirmed that its port to the Nintendo platform will be delayed next year.
