Atlus, the developer of Critics Persona 5, has announced that it will uncover something related to the title on April 25th. A website confirming the date of disclosure appears online, but there is no indication of what the studio will be talking about. However, the site intriguingly has a "P5S" in its URL.
Atlus has already announced a new version of the PS4 RPG called Persona 5 The Royal, but it has its own website with "P5R" in the URL. This suggests that the P5S is something separate from PS4's Persona 5 The Royale. Much of the speculation about what might be is about the Nintendo Switch version of Persona 5, and the "S" in the URL no doubt feeds this fire.
So far, Persona 5 has only been released on PlayStation hardware. Along with the PS4 version, there is also a PS3 version that may be suitable for switching to the Switch. Additionally, Atlus and Nintendo are already working together to bring Joker, the main character of Persona 5, to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate like DLC.
In February, Nintendo confirmed that it was working on Update 3.0 for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but he did not say what it would involve. Nintendo added that Joker will be available for play before the end of April. Considering this, using "1 More" on the website can also be significant. In Persona 5 the phrase is used when the player is given the opportunity to make an extra move as a bonus. Anyway, we'll find out later this month.
Persona 5 started in March 2017 and received 9/10 from GameSpot. In his Persona 5 review, Lucy James said: "The Persona 5 is a complex set of interconnected gameplay mechanics, and almost every aspect of Atlus has fulfilled its vision exclusively by excluding questions of tempo to the end."
It went on: "It's loaded to a breakpoint with gameplay ideas and presentations flourishing – there's a huge level of artistry in every part of the Persona 5, which makes it really sophisticated entry into the series. It's a refined, effortless stylish RPG, that it will be talked about for years to come.
