There will be at least one Packers 2021 ARod.
Green Bay trades from 92 to 85 overall to choose Clemson’s wide receiver Amari Rodgers.
The son of former Steelers, Eagles and Raiders quarterback Tee Martin, Rodgers caught 77 passes for 1,020 yards with seven touchdowns as a senior at Clemson. He contributed all four years during his program, winning the national championship in 2018.
The Packers are returning much of last season’s wide host, led by All-Pro Davante Adams. Devin Funchess will also return after giving up the 2020 season.
But the big question remains whether quarterback Aaron Rodgers – who reportedly wants to come out – will be there to throw the ball to them. So far, the Packers have chosen Georgia cornerback Eric Stokes and Ohio State Center Josh Myers in the 2021 project.
Green Bay traded its 92nd and 135th choice of the Titans to reach number 85.
