The Pokemon Sword and Shield Developer speaks to the national Pokedex dispute

Pokémon Sword and Shield have multiple peaks and reductions in accumulation to release. Unfortunately, the biggest talking point was the low moment for Game Freak games and developers, and it was the revelation that there would be no National Pokedex in games, a controversy that continues to follow the couple's titles and is used as ammunition to complain and criticize the two new records. As you may know, this is the first in the series and it may be fitting that it comes at a time when Game Freak is making a lot of changes to the series' formula. That said, this is a change that Game Freak is paying for, and we have to talk about it again.

Asked by VG 24/7 during a recent interview on the topic and whether the fans' response led to any second guess, producer Junichi Masuda explained that the team did not regret the decision.

"It does not necessarily make us rethink things on our own, but what we always look to for the future is what we can do. to make the game as interesting as possible and make it a more enjoyable, richer experience for the fans, "said Masuda.

The manufacturer continued:

" For example, when we add new moves and abilities, we create a deeper experience for everyone to enjoy. This time we can give people more attachment to the Pokemon that are in the game, which is something that we think is very important. So definitely ̵

1; we have no regrets about what we did. "

Masuda further adds to Red that Home Pokemon is also on the way, so if players yearn to collect all their Pokemon in one place, they will be able to do so with Home Pokemon Home . Of course, this is not the reaction of fans who will want to hear, but it is nice to see a developer who sticks to their weapons in a huge reaction.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be released on November 15th via the Nintendo Switch.
