As for why he doesn’t use Montero for his stage name, he said, “Nas was my nickname on the Internet, and when I started making music, I was like, ‘I want to have fun with this.’ And the name of every new rapper is Lil, Lil, Lil. What if I was Lil Nas? That would be funny. So I was like, “Okay, I’ll bet. I’ll be Lil Nas.” And I added X later. “
Well, I’m sure the car isn’t the only thing people in Montero want to drive.
