Arc System Works has just announced that Guilty Gear Strive is postponed until June 11, 2021. The game was originally scheduled to be released on April 9, 2021 – which is only 37 days from today.
“We made the difficult decision to move the launch date of Guilty Gear Strive (previously scheduled for April 9, 2021
It has been revealed that the reason for the delay is so that Arc System Works can use the feedback received after the Open Beta Test to ensure the best possible game.
“As we received valuable feedback after the recent Open Beta Test, we would like to make the most of this opportunity to provide the best possible game,” continued Arc System Works. “We need extra time to smooth out some aspects of the game, such as online lobbies and server stability.”
Remarkably, the beta servers were unable to handle the traffic that came in during the scheduled beta. This prompted Arc System Works to extend the beta period so that players could participate properly in the Open Beta Test.
“We believe it’s best to use the extra time to improve the quality of the game and provide a better experience for all our players,” said Arc System Works. “Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
