Hello Games announced its next big expansion for No Man's Sky. The "Beyond" update is scheduled for this summer and will be free for all players. It was accompanied by a short trailer showing the hanger, the title, and not much more. Although two of them remain secret at the moment, the first component the team outlines is called "Inhuman Sky Online". The recently redesigned online component will allow players to meet and play together, but the studio warns that it does not think this is a move to MMO. It will remain free for all players, will not contain microtransactions and will not require a subscription (except Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus on consoles).
As for the other parts of Beyond, Hello says it will "Talk more about each component when we know we can be accurate."
