Spark is one of the best email applications on both Android and iOS, offers many customization options and many high-level features, but is prone to lagging behind some of its competitors in terms of design. This is changing today with the release of the latest version of the app, which brings a sleek redesign that makes Spark far more enjoyable to watch, along with a new dark mode setting.
The strange design with windows of the old application was replaced by a more uniform background (either white or black, depending on the mode selected). There are also some much-needed visual tweaks, including a new font and the long-missing option to view contact avatars next to their emails.
However, the update is not only cosmetic. Spark has also been updated with even more customization options, allowing users to choose which actions to display at the bottom of an open email. The new Spark now supports multiple iPadOS windows, allowing users to open multiple emails at once or forward one thread via email to each other with a reply.
The updated Spark application should now run on both Android and iOS.
