The Tennessee Titans did not reach the level of dominance of the 2007 New England Patriots, maintained in the blitzkrieg of their opponents in their undefeated regular season in 2007, but in week 5 they achieved a feat last achieved by this Pats team in their perfect regular season. ̵

1; – against the same opponent no less. During their 42-16 smash of the undefeated Buffalo scores, the Titans went down in NFL history. According to NFL Research, the Titans became the first team to score a touchdown on each red zone possession (minimum of six red zone possessions), have zero revs and do not allow Patriots sacks in 2007.

New England reached that milestone in Buffalo’s 56-10 outburst in week 11 of the 2007 season. The Patriots scored 35 points in the first half of that game and scored a touchdown for their first seven possessions. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has been with the Patriots since 2007, when they achieved this feat. Sparrow finished with three bars and a quarterback goal in the victory.

This Tennessee performance was not as dominant, but it looked like the game continued. The Titans scored touchdowns on six of their nine possessions – including their last three possessions – beating Bills 21-6 in the second half of the eruption victory.

Ryan Tanehill completed 75% of his passes and threw three touchdowns as he rushed for one, finishing with a rating of 129.3. Tannehill has recorded a total of four touchdowns in three of his 14 starts with the Titans. He completed 68.9% of his 1004-yard passes with nine touchdowns to just one set-off during the year (110.8 rating).

The Titans may not have reached the level of the Patriots since 2007, but are a quarter of the way (4-0) to a perfect regular season. Tennessee started 4-0 for the first time since 2008.
