Ochsner Health announced a mass vaccination event at Shrine on Airline on Wednesday in Metairie. According to Ochsner, there are now approximately 1,000 new appointments available on MyOchsner or by calling 844-888-2772. Approximately 2,200 people will receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses on Wednesday, and 1,200 will return to the driving range for their second doses. To date, Ochsner has administered more than 193,788 doses of vaccine, more than any other Louisiana health care provider.
