No Phyllis player or employee tested positive for the coronavirus, although they played Marlin in Philadelphia and saw 17 members of their traveling party test positive, ESPN sources told Jeff Passan.
The news comes after sources said Tuesday’s Philadelphia game between the New York Yankees and Phyllis was postponed.
This is the second consecutive match between the clubs, which was postponed after 13 members of the traveling party of Marlins tested positive for the coronavirus. On Tuesday, sources said four more Marlins tested positive.
NBC Sports Philadelphia announced that the Phillies will try out all members of their traveling party later Tuesday at Citizens Bank Ballpark and will travel to New York on Wednesday.
The Yankees will leave Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon to return to New York, where they will train at the Yankees Stadium, sources told ESPN̵
