Nintendo's Original Entertainment System (NES) is now 34 years old. Millennium, in other words. And since the console debuted in North America in the fall of 1985, its design is the familiar boxing shape; that matte gray, black and red – was the inspiration for nerves everywhere. The latest entry into this faithful canon, which includes everything from (flying like hell) Jordan to the shelves, is the 8BitDo N30: 2.4GHz wireless mouse made by crazy scientists at 8BitDo. You can order one now for $ 24.99.
8BitDo is probably best known for its high-end controllers and gaming peripherals. A mouse is not completely out of their wheels, although it is a little strange. I mean, look at it.
The design is the origin of Swedish industrial designer Daniel Janson, whose original foam model was covered in breathless technology blogs back in 2009. This year, 8BitDo partnered with Jansson to realize it.
The mouse has a 3D touchpad between the scroll buttons, and the D-pad on the side is for navigating websites – page back and forth the same way you move Mario to Super Mario Bros . What's more: 8BitDo says an AA battery will give you 100-120 hours of use. That should be more than enough time to not collect dust from his old NES and finally defeat the original The Legend of Zelda .
