Three surprising new features of the MacBook Pro offer huge benefits

This week sees the launch event of Apple for the new iPhone family (which will look remarkable like the old family on iPhone, but start up just a little faster.) They will grab the headlines, but further on the billboard will be more interesting activities, including the potential launch of the largest MacBook Pro machine of late.

That 16 -inch MacBook Pro comes undoubtedly There was some question about the launch date, but signs this weekend indicate that it is bringing news no matter when it comes out, no matter when it comes out, this MacBook Pro will be a machine that sets the tone for the Apple laptop family in a way like no other.

So, what should be highlighted? Here are three main areas

Obviously the starting point is the header function of the 16-inch screen . Unlike the older 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro machines, online sources suggest that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be the same physical size as the current 15-inch laptop.

Unfortunately, Apple didn't make TARDIS. Instead, by shrinking the borders around the screen, it can compress more pixels into the same space as the older screen. It's a trend across the industry (and smartphones, too), so the only reason it feels revolutionary is that those trapped in the macOS ecosystem may not have seen the trick before.

However, more screen real estate is welcome and keeping it in the same physical space while reducing frames is a smart move.

What will you say about graphics cards? There are a number of Windows 10 laptops powered by high-end graphics cards. Most are marketed as gaming machines, but GPUs have other benefits, including better media rendering time, shifting other intensive processes (such as cryptocurrency), and the potential for VR and AR applications.

Apple needs to stay in this game on the desktop. While there is support for external graphics cards in the latest version of macOS two changes are evident in the new MacBook Pro. The first is to consider a high-end graphics card specifically designed to use a laptop to be available as a single configuration.

The second and one that will offer far longer value is to extend the graphics cards supported in an external GPU caddy – and here I have a solid look at Apple, which simply says " arrange support for your Nvidia card ".

And then there's the keyboard. This speaks volumes to Apple's perception that the biggest issue with the new MacBook Pro is not its impressive display, powerful chips or graphical choices; this is about the basic laptop interface options. Namely, will the keyboard work?

It is fair to say that the butterfly keyboard mechanism is damaged, with missed keys and double keystrokes becoming common in use. It has come to the point that even with the new MacBook, Apple has to promise quick changes to the warranty keyboard repair. All this in the pursuit of a slightly lighter and slightly thinner construction.

The MacBook Pro, released in May, uses "new material" that it said will help the problem. The iFixit team knocked down the keyboard to confirm that the transparent switch cover and the metal dome under the key caps had been changed, but that does not say what a problem it was trying to fix.

There is talk of a new scissor switch design coming to the MacBook family, but starting with the MacBook Air in 2019 and reaching the MacBook Pro by 2020. If Apple brings a new hardware game to the MacBook Pro laptop table – and every sign suggests that it is – then it has to commit to the package. The MacBook Pro should not be a compromised laptop, which is doubly true for the 16-inch version, which will obviously be the flagship. It's important for Apple to have the tallest screen, the highest possible features, and a keyboard that just works.

Let us once have a MacBook Pro that has everything that stands alone and doesn't feel like a piece of iPad Pro development.

] The obvious place to start is the title function of the 16th night screen. Unlike the older 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro machines, online sources suggest that the 16-inch MacBook Pro will be the same physical size as the current 15-inch laptop.
