Trinity High School switched to full distance learning within 2 weeks of a confirmed case of coronavirus on campus



TRINITY, NC – Trinity High School became fully virtual within two weeks after a coronavirus case was confirmed on campus, according to Randolph County School System Manager Stephen Gainey.

The school uncovered the case on Sunday.

Trinity High School says Group A students will return on September 14th and Group B students will return on September 17th.

Ganey said she was working with Randolph County Public Health to deal with the situation.

The school administration contacted all the people who may have been exposed on Sunday afternoon.

The principal also sent a telephone message to the homes of all students to inform parents of the change.

They also contacted all employees at the Trinity High School.
