President Trump you may need to open a MySpace account to be “online”
DT has been banned from a handful of social media apps and social networking sites far beyond Twitter and Facebook / Instagram – triggering it earlier this week after they say they used their platforms to spark a violent Capitol uprising in the United States.

Since then … more companies have taken steps to keep their pages free of Trump, including some you never thought Prez could use, whether it publishes or consumes.
Among those who blocked / restricted the content of Trump and / or Trump – Pinterest (for #StoptheSteal items), Shopify (for MAGA and other related products), Twitch (no more streaming of Trump), Snapchat (the account of Trump), Reddit (the thread r / The_Donald is dead) and even TikTok (as Trump was) trying to ban himself, ironically enough).
Remember Twitter he pulled the plug permanently in Trump’s Twitter account – his platform for the transition in the last few years – quoting additional potential calls for violence, directly or indirectly … this after the expiration of Trump’s 12-hour suspension and he wrote again on Twitter to his “patriots”.
Twitter’s move to charge it forever also came after Facebook / Instagram do something similar … suspend his account indefinitely, at least until Bidenthe inauguration is done.
We believe that the risks of allowing President Trump to continue using our service during this period are simply too great, so we are extending the block we have placed on his Facebook and Instagram accounts indefinitely and for at least the next two weeks. pic.twitter.com/JkyGOTYB1Z

There’s one place Trump might turn to to get his voice back on the Internet – Parler (a far-right social networking site / app) is still open for business … but it’s exposed to risk of being blacklisted in mainstream app stores.
Google has already mixed it up completely – which means you can’t download it anymore if you’re an Android user – but Apple hasn’t done it yet. On Friday, they gave Parler a 24-hour deadline to provide stricter guidance on job regulation … but it is still available from now on.
