Before the break, Jovanovic testified that the infamous Tweets by Trump and his son Donald Trump, Jr., in March repeated the fabrications and attacks against her that State Department officials knew were groundless.
Tweets, she said, are undermined. the ability of a career diplomat to represent the United States effectively in Ukraine.
But when Jovanovic asked for a statement of support to be issued by Pompeo, she said she was told on the "seventh floor" of the State Department, where the Secretary's office is concerned that any such statement could be undermined by a subsequent Trump's tweet.
Daniel Goldman, the Democrats' lawyer, began the line of questioning, noting that the president and his son had multiple attacks stemming from an article by John Solomon of Hill, quoting Yuri Lutsenko, the then Attorney General in Ukraine.
Lutsenko suggested to Solomon that Jovanovic spoke badly about Trump and is collaborating on a scheme to assist Clinton and Uni. .

9659002] Then Goldman read aloud a tweet from Trump Jr. containing a link to Solomon's writing "we need less of these jokes as ambassadors."
"What was your reaction to seeing this?" Goldman asked.  "Well, I was worried," Jovanovic said.
"What were you worried about?" Goldman asked.
"You know, these attacks are repeated by the president himself and his son," she
Trump's infamous tweet at the time also referred to Sean Hannity of Fox News.
"Did you know they got their attention on television for the first time, on Fox News?
"Was the claim that you badly opposed identical Trump right? "
