James Otis – best known as the man who destroyed Donald Trumpthe star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame just before he was elected president – trying to play his part to make sure DT is not re-elected … by overwhelming New York with Trump’s lies.
Otis – who is also the heir to the Otis Elevator Company’s fortune – made his way to the top of the Empire State Building on Thursday morning and threw thousands of gold flyers over the city.
Naturally, an employee caught him one step closer and told him to stop and leave immediately, but as you can see … the damage had already been done.
We got the anti-Trump vandal after his stunt, and he tells us he didn’t have much trouble dropping the flyers … assuming he ran away from him.
Otis says he explained to construction officials that what he did was a violent act to spread the word about President Trump’s constant lies … and they were “heartfelt.”
However, in a downward direction … he says he is now banned for life from the Empire State Building.
As for the flyersOtis says they have been printed on both sides with more than 20,000 examples of lies told by Trump in the office … along with fact-checking to disprove them.
Examples include quotes from Trump about tax cuts, the economy, Joe Biden, protests and the VA election bill … and these are just the last few months. James says he dropped at least a few thousand flyers.
As you remember … Otis was accused of vandalism for cascade of pickaxes he withdrew on October 26, 2016 to protest against then-candidate Trump. In February 2017, he did not participate in a competition and was sentenced to 3 years probation, community service and sentenced to pay $ 4,400.
He seems to be making the most of not being on probation. We contacted cops about the Empire State Building incident … I still don’t have an answer.
