After reaching tens of thousands of fans on their first North American tour earlier this year, TWICE will be getting even closer to their followers in a whole new way.
Billboard can exclusively reveal that JYP Entertainment and YouTube have partnered to create a YouTube Originals documentary featuring TWICE, based around North America's foot, on their TWICELIGHTS 2019 world tour. for the band to play their own concerts in the West for the first time, the tour gathered a reported 41,000 fans in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Newark and Chicago dates this summer.
Described as "unlike anything released by TWICE before," the series promises exclusive, in-depth interviews and analysis, as well as "an intimate and personal depiction of all TWICE members." Viewers will also view the group's four-year journey and how they rose to become the # 1
While YouTube Originals previously worked with K -pop boy bands, this new endeavor with TWICE will be the first award-winning series to partner with K-pop girls that group.
Currently, the TWICE originals YouTube series is currently in production and fans can expect its release in the first half of 2020.
