“We are really delighted with the enthusiastic response of the players and we want to thank the fans for their incredible support. Giving this game to a global pandemic was a real tour of our teams and it’s fantastic to see the players who enjoy the game so much. ” said Julien Laferrier, producer of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. “The launch is just the beginning and we have solid content plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will keep players immersed in their epic Viking saga for a long time to come.”
Players are already well on their adventure at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, traveling more than 4 million kilometers, building their villages (over 55 million buildings that have already been unlocked since launch) and becoming fully immersed in Scandinavian and Saxon culture through the Orlog dice games ( over 3.5 have won millions of Orlog games so far) or even enjoy drinking and flying competitions (over 1.8 million players have won at least one drinking game since the start).
With a development led by Ubisoft Montreal2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers players a fascinating experience playing as Eivor, a legendary Viking warrior driven from Norway by endless wars and dwindling resources in the ninth century AD. Players can experience the relentless fighting style of Viking warriors with a redesigned dual combat system and experience new features of the game such as raids, attacks and settlements, as well as an updated system for progression and upgrade of equipment. Political alliances, combat decisions, and dialogue choices can affect the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, so players must make wise choices to protect their clan’s home and future.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on the Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on a Windows PC, as well as the Stadia, Amazon Luna and Ubisoft, Ubisoft + subscription service.
