Overall, it was a pleasant flight and made me want to fly United again.
United is my new favorite to fly during a pandemic that doesn’t block midfielders. I will always prefer an airline like Delta, which blocks seats, but United takes the cake among those who are not.
I was very impressed with how the two airports I visited were completely renovated with new health and safety measures, as well as the airline’s use of its digital signage to transmit social distance messages.
I also appreciated the airline that returns the service during the flight, which makes a big difference on longer flights. United was the first airline I flew to during the pandemic, where I was given something to drink besides bottled water, and I really appreciate that.
United is not perfect because the smaller airports in the airline’s network do not have the same level of safeguards as the centers in Denver and Houston, as it does with many airlines, but it is better than most airlines I have flown to during the pandemic.
