Upcoming event in November? Everything Apple did not announce at the October event

So far, Apple has held events in September and October, focusing first on the Apple Watch Series 6 and iPad Air, and then on the new iPhone 12 and HomePod mini models. There are still a handful of products that Apple is expected to release before the end of the year, so will we see an event in November?

From AirPods Studio to the Aricon-based Silicon Mac, there are still new devices we could see this year. Below are the rumors that did not appear at the event in October.

AirPods Studio

Apple plans to add high-end “AirPods Studio”

; headphones to its AirPods range, and some rumors suggest that it may be a product that is ready for release and will be released before the end of 2020.

There has been speculation that AirPods Studio will appear at the October event, but a massive leak outlining what we will see at the event does not include AirPods Studio, so in the end we knew we weren’t expecting it.

Both AirPods and AirPods Pro launched in the later months of the year, so there’s still a good chance we’ll get new headphones this year. It is estimated to start at $ 350, AirPods Studio will include Active Noise Cancellation and a retro-style design that can include both a premium model made of high quality materials and a sports-oriented model made of breathable, lighter materials.

AirPods Studio may include magnetic ear cups and a headband lining that can be replaced with a custom look, similar to Apple Watch straps, and may have sophisticated features such as ear detection so that there are no right or left side when wearing headphones.

The launch date in 2020 is not certain, as there is some mixed information that suggests that AirPods Studio may not be ready to launch, so it is not clear what exactly will happen.

We’ve been hearing rumors about Apple-based Apple tracking for more than a year, and there’s never been a clear timeline to launch. It would make sense to unveil AirTags along with new iPhones, given the interoperability between them, but that didn’t happen.

If you’ve lived under a rock and are unfamiliar with AirTags, this is Apple’s version of Tile. AirTags are small Bluetooth-equipped item tracking devices that you can attach to important but easily lost items, allowing AirTags (and items) to be tracked right in the Find My app along with your Apple devices.

There is no guarantee that AirTags will launch in 2020, so there is a chance we will not see them this year. In fact, Leaker Jon Prosser, who has mixed results when it comes to reporting on Apple’s plans, recently said that “AirTags” will not appear until March 2021. Since then, Prosser has said that the “AirPods Studio” headphones are actually pushed out, so instead Apple will debut “AirTags”. Given the super mixed information, we’ll have to wait to see what will eventually start.

Recent speculation suggests that Apple may have had AirTags ready for quite some time (hence the code is in earlier versions of iOS 13), but has kept them to allow third-party tracking manufacturers to develop their own solutions to integrate with the Find Me app in an attempt to dispel antitrust allegations. Since rumors of AirTags first surfaced, Tile is unhappy because Apple’s better Bluetooth tracker, which integrates directly into the Find My app, has the potential to trigger Tile’s business.

Apple Silicon Macs

Apple itself said that the first Mac with an Apple Silicon chip is coming before the end of 2020, so we can count on at least one Mac launch in November or December.

It is not yet known exactly which Mac will receive the first Apple Silicon chip, but based on rumors, candidates include a new MacBook Pro, a new MacBook Air, a resurrected 12-inch MacBook or a new 24-inch iMac.

Apple is working on a redesigned 14-inch MacBook that will be similar to the 16-inch MacBook and a redesigned 24-inch “iMac” to replace the 21.5-inch MiMac, and the release of the two important redesigns would be a perfect time to introduce new chips. designed by Apple.

No matter which Mac comes first, Apple is transferring its entire Mac range to Apple Silicon chips, a process that is expected to take a year. By the end of 2021, Apple may be on the verge of shutting down all Macs with Intel chips. We may not be able to rely on AirPods Studio or AirTags for sure, but new Macs are definitely coming.

Apple TV

As with AirTags, next-generation Apple TV rumors have been circulating for months, if not years. We haven’t had a new version of Apple TV since 2017, and we’re long overdue for an update.

Apple is said to be working on a number of Apple TV decoders, including one with an A14X chip that offers console-like performance. There are also rumors of a new Apple TV remote control with “Find mine” integration so it doesn’t get lost.

No “Apple TV” appeared at Apple’s October event, and it doesn’t look like we’ll see it as a potential event in November. According to an August report from Bloomberg, a new Apple TV may not be ready to launch until sometime in 2021.

An event in November?

Apple has a chance to hold an event on November 3 to showcase new products, as Apple Silicon Macs are at least event-worthy devices. Of course, there is currently no guarantee, because devices that are still on the horizon can also come out through a press release.

Predicting a possible date for the event in November is complicated. November 3 is Election Day in the United States, November 11 is Veterans Day, and November 26 is Thanksgiving in the United States, with Apple giving all corporate employees this weekend. If Apple hosts an event, we may be able to receive invitations in the first week of November with an event to take place on November 9 or 10 before Veterans Day.

A recent rumor suggests that Apple is actually planning an Apple Silicon event for November 17, so this could happen when we see a message instead. That date is terribly close to Thanksgiving a week later, but Apple doesn’t have many options in November.
