While they won̵
There’s a good reason Microsoft’s new consoles are off the shelves. In our review of the Xbox Series X, we gave the new system basic props for its bubbles, fast charging times, and overall backward compatibility with each generation Xbox. And as we noted in our review of the Xbox Series S, the cheaper next-generation Xbox still offers many of the same great features for those with 1080p TVs.
With that in mind, see the latest Xbox Series X stock updates and tips for getting your new Microsoft console below.

Where to Buy Xbox Series X Tips and Resources for Buying
In addition to refreshing merchant websites, there are other online channels where you can check when a device may become available.
On Twitter, we suggest you follow @ Wario64. The handle is known for updating users to the latest deals and recovering faster than anyone else on the platform.
Shopping forums
Slickdeals, the online transaction repository, has thread on the forum dedicated to ordering Xbox Series X through Microsoft. The thread is constantly updated, so go to the last page and click refresh for the latest data on when the units will be available.
PopFindr
PopFindr is a site that checks local retail inventories based on your zip code. For example, you can check your local Target stores in your area to see if the Xbox Series X is available. Keep in mind that just because it’s displayed in stock, it may be in stock until you arrive at the store.
It’s also not a bad idea to create a Slickdeals account and set a transaction alert for the Xbox Series X. You’ll receive an email alert when a new replenishment topic is created. But we’ve found that sometimes Slickdeals doesn’t send emails to users fast enough. So it may be better to enter “Xbox Series X” in the search bar and sort by new one. Be prepared to register several times a day.
CheapAssGamer is a long-running website for video game deals, which also has a thread in the forum dedicated to the Xbox Series X. At the time of writing, the thread is over 63 pages long and users are discussing where to find units.
Facebook and Reddit
Facebook can also be a good source of information. There are many Xbox Series X fan groups that keep users informed of where the latest restores are taking place. Feel free to join several of these groups.
And don’t forget to subscribe to the Xred Series X subreddit. Of course, most of the page is devoted to discussions and memes, but if a user notices a reload, they will notify the community. For example, one user found Xbox Series X devices in stock at a local Walmart, and others also discussed similar findings. Again, it appears that some Walmart locations may hold units to be sold on Cyber Monday.
Wholesalers
Another set of retailers to watch out for are subscription-based wholesalers such as Costco, Sam’s Club and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Because a paid account is required to access these wholesalers, there are often fewer people who skip each other to find a unit. If you do not have a subscription for any of these merchants, ask a few friends or family members.
Unfortunately, wholesalers tend to associate the new consoles with additional games or accessories. So you’ll probably have to pay more than the standard $ 500.
Check at specific times
In general, retailers like to provide cash at certain times. The time when new Xbox Series X stocks are likely to be available is at midnight ET on certain days. Check all the dealers and you may just be lucky.
Other retailers prefer moments like 7 a.m. ET when customers wake up, while others will rush to lunch to give everyone the best chance of finding a new Xbox Series X console.
If the units are not in stock online, it may be worth going to a physical location. You need to get your membership card or go with someone who has a membership. And don’t forget to wear a face mask (through your nose) or traders will ask you to leave. If there aren’t any in the store, then at least you can go out with $ 5 chicken.
Where to buy Xbox Series X: Avoid scalpers
One of the reasons for the shortage of shares in the Xbox Series X and Series S is that scalpers grab large quantities of next-generation consoles on a large scale and then sell them at extortionate prices; we charge thousands of dollars for a $ 499 game console.
VGC announced that the already well-known scalper group PS5, named CrepChiefNotify, managed to get 1000 Xbox Series X consoles as soon as they became available in the British retailer Very. But in reverse, Very canceled 1,000 pre-orders for the Xbox Series X, somewhat torpedoing the efforts of the scalpers.
As frustrating as it is to find an Xbox Series X or Series S, we suggest you avoid buying a console from these scalpers. The massive odds payout for a console that doesn’t have a huge range of new Xbox Series X games isn’t a smart move, in our opinion. If you can stand it, Microsoft needs to have more Xbox Series X devices, as well as the promise of more exclusive games for the console.
