Jordan Clarkson has agreed to a four-year, $ 52 million deal to stay with Utah Jazz, his agent, Paul Paul of Klutch Sports, told Adrian Voynarovsky.
The 28-year-old Clarkson joined jazz in the opening games and playoffs after Bojan Bogdanovic was sent off before resuming play in the NBA last season.
The shooting guard averaged 16.7 points per game from the bench and shot 46.4% off the field in Jazz’s first-round loss to the Denver Nuggets.
A dynamic goal scorer, Clarkson makes healthy sums of 3 points, can attack up close and flashes the ability to make plays for others. However, he proved to be responsible for the defense, which limits his ceiling to that of the role player.
Clarkson, who is second in the 2014 NBA Draft, also spent time with the Lakers and Cavaliers. He averages 14.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
