After the fragment of an unreleased collaboration with Lil Baby went viral, Meek Mill found himself at the end of the reaction. The Philadelphia rapper is heard in the video, bouncing the line, “Yes, and if I ever miss him, I’ll go out with my chop / This will be another Kobe,“and the public quickly condemned him for his choice of bars. Mike looked defiant in his response and even shared a picture of a hat with Kobe Bryant and the names of his late 1

3-year-old daughter Jana to show he wasn’t disrespectful, but he did not offer the apology that many believe he should have given.

The controversy soon dissipated and was replaced by new viral moments, but almost a week later Vanessa Bryant appeared to address the text. “Dear @meekmil, I find this line extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period,” Kobe’s widow told her Instagram story. “I’m not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than that.”

“If you’re a fan, well, there’s a better way to show your admiration than my husband,” she continued. “That lacks respect.” Soon Mike reappeared with a tweet. “I’m going wild in that sh * t … f #% k ya feeling!” he wrote. It is not clear what it refers to, but you can check out the posts below.
