Walmart offers a free Thanksgiving dinner for shoppers



Walmart has teamed up with several brands to offer a free Thanksgiving dinner to customers during the pandemic that hurt the finances of millions of Americans.

Ibotta, Campbell’s, Butterball and Coca-Cola have teamed up with the megastore to spread the 100% refund offer available at Walmart until supplies run out.

The free Thanksgiving dinner provides a full: roast breast with turkey meat; Campbell’s condensed mushroom soup cream; A package of spices with McCormick turkey sauce powder; High value filling mixture; Frozen green beans of great value; Cranberry sauce with great value; Idaho mashed potatoes; French crispy onions and 2-liter Coca-Cola.

To take advantage of the free family-style meal, customers can purchase items included in Walmart or through Walmart.com. After purchasing the goods, customers will either need to download the Ibotta app, or visit the Ibotta website and scan Walmart’s receipt or link their Walmart Grocery accounts to Ibotta to win 100% cashback on the purchase.

As the holiday approaches, government organizations are trying to help the troubled Americans.

In New York, the New York Food Bank distributed 500 turkeys, canned goods and products to hundreds of families in the Harlem neighborhood on Monday. The food bank said it plans to distribute another 2,000 turkeys over the next two weeks after merging with the Stop & Shop supermarket chain.

GRATEFULNESS IN A PANDEMIC MEANS SMALLER BIRDS, LESS RESIGNATIONS

Over the weekend, the North Texas Food Bank distributed 600,000 pounds of food, including 7,000 turkeys, to 25,000 people. Photos from the event showed thousands of cars in line.
