The Orange County Health Care Agency reports that a teenage girl who was visiting the Disneyland Resort and surrounding areas between August 11 and August 15, 2019, from New Zealand was contagious with the measles
A warning stating that Orange County residents may have been exposed to measles during the timeframe above at Disneyland as well as at the Desert Palms Hotel from August 11 to 15.
The health care agency continues to work with Disneyland and the closeby hotel to contact guests who may have had contact with the infected teenager.
Folks who visited the theme parks and hotel during the timeframe above were challenged to monitor themselves for illness with fever and / or an unexplained rash from 7 days to 21
