Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Warren Buffett may have sold some shares of Apple Inc. in the third quarter, but the stake in the tech giant actually increased as the value of the investment swelled by more than $ 6 billion.  Apple Shares

rose 0.6% in Friday afternoon trading. The stock set six record highs this month, at November 13th, at $ 264.47.
In the case of 13F before the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, Berkshire
revealed what constitutes a rebalancing of its investment in Apple as the number of its holdings shares decreased by 750 650 to 248,838,679 shares as of September 30, from 249,589,329 shares as of June 30.
Unpaid Apple shares decreased to 4 433 265 000 from 4,519 180 000 shares, so Berkshire's stock increased to 5.60% from 5.52%.
And as Apple shares grew 13% in the quarter, the value of Berkshire-owned shares increased by more than $ 6 billion, to $ 55.73 billion as of September 30, from $ 49.40 billion to 30 June.
Apple Holding's value represented 26.0% of Berkshire's total equity, which was $ 304.67 billion on September 30, compared to 23.7% of June 30's total.

DJIA, + 0.71%
which gained 20% in 2019.
Berkshire remained Apple's second largest shareholder behind Vanguard Group Inc., according to FactSet.
13F Vanguard documentation showed that the fund sold 3,981,155 shares of Apple in the third quarter to reduce its holdings to 331,132,509 shares as of September 30, but the stock increased to 7.45% of the shares remaining from 7 , 42%.
