Warriors’ Draymond Green scored in the first half against the Knicks

Warriors striker Draymond Green was sent off late in the first half of Thursday night’s game against the Knicks.

They were 1:04 in the second quarter and Golden State were 60-55 behind, Green, 30, seems to be screaming in the center of James Wiseman when he was fouled. It was his second in the game that led to his immediate dismissal.

As Green walked to the sideline, Warriors coaches challenged the call, trying to note that Green was talking to Wiseman – not a referee.

Once Green is out, Golden State must take into account his intensity in defense, ability to play and court instructions. In the 1

7 minutes before he was thrown, Green had three points and eight assists.

At halftime, Warriors trailed Knicks, 63-57.
