You’ll be able to catch the popular meteor shower as Earth passes through Comet Swift-Tuttle from late July to late August, but if you want to see the best views, it’s all about catching it at rush hour: between 2 hours in the morning local time in the previous hours on August 13th.

If you want to watch the spectacle from the comfort of your bed, NASA will host a live broadcast of the meteor shower from a camera in Huntsville, Alabama, weather permitting. Watch NASA̵

7;s Meteor Watch Facebook, starting around 8:00 PM on August 11 until the early hours of August 13. Meteor videos recorded by NASA’s All Sky Fireball network are also available each morning.
