The veteran has captured the hearts of social media users after climbing a flagpole in the memory of SEAL Navy in Virginia to set a free American flag.
Dom Raso, formerly SEAL himself, says he was in the morning [Четвъртък] in Virginia Beach when he spotted the flag in place and broke from a ladder.
The video posted on Facebook shows that Rasso climbs a ladder and then cuts the free end of the ladder flag before sliding back. "This was my fourth attempt to try to get up and fix the banner," Rasso said. "This morning I could not go with this flag and not give it all I had. The golden stars of this monument and the sacrifice made for all of us was something that just would not pass. This ascent of the flag reminded me of EVERYTHING in life. "

In another post, Rasso encourages his fellow Americans to continue" doing what is right.
"It does not take much, just needs a certain and convicted small number," he said. "With all my heart and soul I believe that there is a wave of patriots in our country that grow with strength and confidence every day. As we observe parts of our country that fall into mass confusion, complacency, and ignorance, there are a few who are inclined to climb or stand or do what it takes.
