Activision has a bit of a weird story with Switch. They support the platform, but for now this support requires a lot of patience from Nintendo fans. The Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy eventually reached the switch, and so did the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Could the same happen with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s Time Time? We are not 100% sure, but we have the slightest part of hope.
The official website for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time doesn’t mention Switch on the surface, but when you dig deeper, there’s a hidden element hidden in the source code. In the “Platforms”
I would usually say that this means nothing, but this is exactly the kind that has appeared in the past with Activision sites. Sometimes this really points to Switch versions, as was the case with the Crash and Spyro mentioned above. It also happened with the title of Call of Duty, which apparently never came in Switch.
Most likely, this bit of source code is just the remnants of a template that web developers use when creating a site, and they just leave it there. That said, we certainly hope this is an indicator of something that needs to go down the road.
