What did you play last week?

Tom Hatfield plays Six Ages, a fantasy clan management sim, which is also a text adventure. It's based in Gloranta, the world of games like King of Dragon Pass and RuneQuest desktop RPG, and thanks to that, it has a lot of tweaking to your decision making because you keep your city alive and try to keep those annoying assailants together [19659002] Andy Kelly plays The Fisherman: The Fishing Planet, a fishing sim that I'm sure the ad copy already said had "depth". In addition, there are other players who share the same lakes as everyone cools down and reels after a catch. I have never played any of the Fishing Planet games, so the idea of a basic MMO for fishing sounds wild to me.

Joe The latest adventure of Donnelly's GTA Online RP involves trying to start a cult. Well, it involved dressing up as one of the parodies of Hare Krishna from the first game, and I asked people if they remember the Guranga boys. Shockingly, this did not end well.

James Davenport plays Fortnite Chapter 2 and is quite pleased with the changes. For example, Fortnite has eliminated some of the goofier movement for airborne movement while adding a few new ways of passing water bodies, making it less unpredictable and better suited to its map. Reasonable! He notes that the building is as opaque as ever and will continue to baffle players who have not spent the required hours of YouTube lessons. Not so reasonable!

I just finished Disco Elysium, finishing it last night. To call him an RPG detective, they seem to sell him short, as he is also an interior monologue simulator and a novel deserves excellent writing, but I do not want to overlook the fact that it is both criminal history and good. It's easy enough for the riddle to fall apart with meaningless revelation at the end – Killed: Soul suspect, I'm looking at you – but Disco Elysium doesn't. His end stuck to my screen, but that's when I played most of it. It's a masterpiece.

Enough for us. What about you? Would you be motivated to check out Crusader Kings 2 since it's free? How about the Escher puzzles of Manifold Garden? Or are you deep into Destiny 2: Shadowkeep? Let us know!
