"When this thing ran out, I was furious," Pattinson tells Variety. "Everyone was so upset. Everyone panicked at my team. Somehow I thought he blew up all the work. "
Fortunately, this leak did not lead to Pattinson's price. Nor is he particularly concerned about the backlash from Batman fans who do not want the former Twilight star to take his nose and lid off. "To be honest, he was less vitriolic than I expected," he said. "It's a lot more fun when you're not enough.
Pattinson also reflects on the decision to take on another major franchise role, revealing that he needs a break after Twilight to pursue other types of projects. "Great movies, in general, the parts aren't that interesting – at least the things that come my way," he said. "I think I would probably feel a little nervous that I would go into [The Batman] immediately after that."
" Batman was directed by Matt Reeves and will hit theaters on June 25, 2021. Pattinson is the only confirmed cast member, although rumor has it that Andy Serkis is playing a role. The villains rumor includes Catwoman, Penguin, Two-Face and Mad Hatter. The movie is also the start of a brand new trilogy.
