In the fall of 2018, three Miami Heat employees gathered at Nike’s headquarters in Portland, Oregon to discuss the uniforms of the city edition of the Heat for the 2020-21 season – designed then as the Heat season to move away from its popular “Vice” “alternates. After the white, black, pink and light blue versions, it would be time for something new.
