Kufi Kingston drives her. And with his positivity and inertia, he gets another shot at Daniel Bryan's WWE Championship. my foolish. A match like this – a pseudo-remake by PPV – does not usually do much to advance the story. But when everything in Kingston is a catch for another Brian's victory and has been named # 1 contender for the WWE Championship? Sign me!
To begin with, I want to talk about the New Day. Xavier Woods and Big E gathered at his friend and helped him keep his head after the Elimination Chamber. They came back to sing the praise of their friend at SmackDown and you could see how much that support of Coffey meant. Hell, he said to both of them in an interview for backstage.
And with this positivity, Kofi came out and killed him. Again. He got hot marks and brought Brian's crime excitement, including his signature on the outside, which we saw from a really cool low angle. Good job, WWE camera man!
And ultimately, the crowd is still 1
* Pulses with a stick * … Asuka?
I have not been too concerned about Asuka in the last few weeks, just because I get it. WWE wanted to keep Becky Lynch's story uncomplicated, and there was no real need for Asuka to jump and get involved. There would be plenty of time to find her as an opponent of WrestleMania.
But now that she's back and immediately lost to Mandy Rose? Okay, I'm ready to sound a little siren.
Asuka received a promotion before the meeting, where they asked her if she was not ignored in the entire Raw Women competition. Clearly, the question is honest and the one that fans have already cast out. Asuka responded in the way you expect from the employment of WWE's strategy; she briefly mentioned that she had defeated Becky Lynch before rejecting everything and focusing on the new challenges. She took advantage of the distraction from Lacey Evans and pretended to hurt her eyes in this game to steal the champion's fall.
I have no problems with WWE who are trying to get some warmth and legitimacy for Rose and Evans. My question, however, is because Asuka is a big unstable deal … and you win with some cheap tricks we see in the games all the time? There is nothing really important about how Rose overcomes Asuka; Aska was just beaten.
And that's not terrible … yet. But I think I'm officially worried about this feud. Rose needs to rise to Asuka's level, not the other way around. In the House of Elimination House, Ussos questioned whether the world's largest lab team is a real team. Now look at Miss, looking for shortcuts after a loss. Keep in mind that WWE has removed automatic remittances in December – that means Miz starts to move from the baby's path.
Aleister Black def. Andrade – This game was very fun, but there was not enough time to be really great … but of course it was not necessary. The New Orleans crowd made Black feel a much bigger deal than the previous night, and Black began to show off by winning the fourth NXT Superstars victory for two nights. And on the heels of the "big ad" planned for NXT this week? Now all this has a story about him instead of feeling like a random addition to the show. This makes a world of difference.
DIY def. The Bar – Another match, another victory for the NXT crew. I enjoyed DIY much more on this show simply because the backstage interaction with another label team was a thousand times better. Their bar stood up and openly mocked the duo and laughed as Johnny Gargano swore to break the bar. fell on Campa's feet. I was so sure that Champa had broken something, but the NXT champion managed to shake him and finish the game.
Ricochet def. Eric Young – the strength lives !!! But not for long, with Ricochet around. This was not such a good indication of "One and Only" as last night. He ooh and the crowd, but I do not think he received such a strong response as the other NXT gentlemen. But that's fine; continue to embrace children as you did at your entrance, Ricochet, and make even the most reasonable heart grow on your wings. I enjoy more of SmackDown's comment, telling SmackDown stories more and I can not help him. It was not even the strongest show, but I still appreciated it above average.
How about you, Cageside? Have you ever gotten a KofiMania fever?
