Xbox Live servers are down tonight, as thousands of reports run into continuing issues logging into Xbox One consoles.
It is not clear what caused the interruption tonight or how long it could last on Microsoft platforms.
"It's Friday night, it's better not to go all night! A new game coming out should not crash the system," one user wrote.
The good news is that Microsoft has noticed today's problems with Xbox Live servers and is looking for a fix as soon as possible.
The downside is that we don't have an ETA for how long this can take for Xbox One gamers.

The latest news from the Xbox technical team reads: "Our engineers and developers are actively working to resolve the issue, which causes some members to have trouble logging in. to Xbox Live. Stay tuned, and thank you for your patience. "
According to the Microsoft server status site tonight, the problems mainly affect Xbox Live logon procedures.
This means gamers who are already logged in may not be affected by the interruption tonight.  Xbox Live's main services currently affected include: Sign in; Create, manage or restore an account; Search.
