Zion Williamson trauma: Duke's new knee wraps, shoe from first minute shooter against UNC

Duke's original striker Sion Williamson wounded his knee at the start of Wednesday night's match between the top-ranked Blue Devils and the eighth ranked North Carolina Tar Heels. After Williamson dropped his shoe for 30 seconds in the first half, he left the game and did not come back.

After the game, Blue Devils coach Mike Krsishevsky called it a "slight knee sprain" but could not offer any peculiarities. He said, however, that the knee is steady. It is expected to be subjected to further tests, and the results should be released on Thursday.

Williamson immediately pressed his right knee after blowing a shoe on the play. He went later, after an official time-out, dressed in his hand, and went directly to the dressing room. He did not come back to the game and was soon off for the night.

From the ensuing possession, North Carolina scored the first guide in the game and never moved. Tar Heels won 88-72. This is their first victory at Duke's house in 2016
